Brenda is AMAZING! I have been seeing her for over a decade! She is highly educated in all of the latest styling and color techniques. The salon is super cute too, a quiet place to totally escape for an hour. Other hair salons are crazy loud with chatter and hairdryers and stylist running back and forth but at Hair in the City the environment is nice and calm and you are the only person being treated-you'll totally feel like a princess/prince

I love my salon appointments with Brenda. Not only does each visit end with my hair soft as silk and with stunning color but I’ve been immersed in a beautiful environment from the scented candles and soothing aromatic oils, to the comfortable rooms with such inspirational and comfortable decor. Brenda is such a pleasure to be with. She puts her heart and soul into making each visit an amazing experience. I won’t go anywhere else and I will never miss an appointment. Brenda is, hands down, the best of the best. Honestly she is such a master colorist that I don’t even have to think about it whether it roots or roots and highlights. I know I’m in the most capable hands.

Brenda has been doing my hair now for more than 25 years (literally half my life); I have followed her through 4 salons because she's worth every second of the drive. She even drove to NYC to do my hair for my elopement! Brenda is a gifted colorist who knows what your hair can handle and what it cannot. She goes above and beyond to make her clients happy and have them leave her salon feeling refreshed and beautiful. My color always looks natural and I constantly get compliments on my highlights. Brenda has done an incredible job developing her business and reputation and now owns her own beautiful salon. Because it is only her in the salon, my appointments are always quiet and relaxing. I can sit in peace and read smut magazines, sipping wine while my color sets. I wouldn't go anywhere else. If I move, she's coming with me!
